* DONE * Chanter Tryouts

Wrestling Chanter Clinic and Tryouts will be held September 8-10 from 3:30-4:30 at the High school Wrestling Room.  All Chanter Candidates will be required to have a current physical and drug form.  Tryout packets and sign up sheets will be available Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the office.

Any Junior or Senior students interested in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law and CSI will have the opportunity to attend this Career Fair on Wednesday, September 24. The time is from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. If your interested come and sign-up in Kelli Cragin's office in 600 hallway.

· Medical Explorer Program:

Any students' 9-12th grade interested in a Medical Career has a opportunity to be mentored by a group of health care professionals from Freeman and St. John's. If interested please come by and sign-up in Kelli Cragin's office.

The Presidential Classrooms in Washington DC may be what you are looking for.

Programs available are INAUGURAL 2009, PRESIDENTIAL CLASSROOM SCHOLARS, FUTURE WORLD LEADERS SUMMIT, COMMUNICATIONS & JOURNALISM., INTELLIGENCE & NATIONAL SECURITY, LAW, JUSTICE & HUMAN RIGHTS, SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY & PUBLIC POLICY, AND GLOBAL HEATH & ENVIRONMENT.


Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors are eligible to attend workshops.

These workshops take place in Washington DC and costs for workshops can vary but range in cost from$1,600 - $2,295.

Students must have at least a 3.0 GRADE POINT AVERAGE. They should also be active in the school and community. Scholarships are available.

Deadline is Sept. 15.

"Hey it is only the first days of school and already, Mrs. Reed is thinking Graduation!  Yeah - if - you're a senior.

Seniors - Mrs. Reed NEEDS some things from you!!!!
1.  Your shirt size, come by room 305 at some point, and mark it on the list next to your name.
2.  You need to bring in pictures.  I need a baby picture (two years or younger), a "kid" picture (when you were between 8 and 12) and a now picture.  Doesn't have to be your senior picture, don't wait too long to get them taken, but just find a "good" picture of you now.
All pictures must be "appropriate" for public viewing.
