Any Senior in A+ Program graduating at Semester:  Please come and see Kelli Cragin ASAP

 

Any Senior in the A+ Program attending MSSU Fall-2010 needs to see Kelli Cragin about a Scholarships Opportunity:

MSSU is awarding a total of 100 first-come, first served basis on A+ Scholarship.  This is a value of $1,000 per academic year.  If you're interested, stop by Kelli Cragin office to pick up an application.

 

Health Careers Club(formerly called Medical Explorer Program)  :Any students interested in learning about the many careers in the health care field has an opportunity to participate in the Health Careers Club with Freeman and St. John's.  Sign-up in Kelli Cragin office

 

Job Shadowing:

All Junior and Senior get 1 full day excused absent.  Job Shadowing is a wonderful opportunity to go out to the real world of work for one-full day to visit a business, or professional that is in the career choice of each student's interest.   Sign up in Kelli Cragin office.

Share your pictures with the Yearbook staff

Do you have great pictures you think should be in next year’s yearbook?  Help us make a great yearbook by submitting some of your own pictures for us to possibly use in the 2009-2010 yearbook.  Go to this website:  images.jostens.com and put in our school’s code: 400006634 and password: cardinals.  You can upload as many photos as you would like and we will choose some of the best ones to use in the yearbook.  Good luck!

FBLA Meeting

There will be an FBLA meeting on Wednesday October 28th at 7:20 in room 100.  Money will be collected for dues, T-shirts will be ordered, and we will discuss our community service project. 

Senior Personality Voting

Voting for Senior Personalities will be next week during red day lunches.  All seniors should pick up a ballot during lunch and turn it into Mr. Manning in room 100 by Friday, October 30th

Picture Retake Day

Picture retake day will be on Wednesday, October 28th in Barton Theater.  Students who didn’t get pictures the first time just need to come with a completed form.  If you are getting your pictures retaken for a second time, please bring your first packet back with you.  Thanks!

ATTENTION HONOR DIPLOMA STUDENTS!!

The Webb CIty Singers are hosting the 23rd annual showchoir festival on Saturday, October 31. They need about 15 workers to help run the day. If any of you would be willing to help,  Mrs, Wright, Singers director would greatly appreciate it. The jobs include hospitality room, crowd control, hall duty, backstage control, and clean up. Please contact Mrs. Wright in the choir room if you are willing to volunteer.You  can earn 3 hours.

·       Webster Elementary : .  Need students to help with the after school reading.  Time : 2:15 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

·       Webster Elementary :  Need a student to help a 2nd grad in Math and Reading 2 times a week.  Time:  2:15 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

·       Webster After School Reading:  Need students to help with the after school reading.  Monday-Thursday, time:  3:00 p.m.-3:45 p.m.

·       Eugene Elementary: Two 4th graders are needing help in Math and English 2 days a week.  Time:  2:50 p.m.-3:40 p.m.

·       Junior High:  Need students to help in the Home Work Center (room 201).  Monday-Thursday/Time:  2:40-3:40

·       Carterville Elementary:  Need a student to help a 2nd grade with reading 2 times a week.  Time:  2:55-3:30
