Prom Information

FAQ about Webb City's prom:

Q: When is prom?

A: Saturday, April 18, 2009, from 8-11 p.m.

Q: Where is prom?

A: At the Holiday Inn Convention Center (formerly known as John Q.
Hammons)

Q: What time is Senior Walk?

A: Senior Walk will begin at 8 p.m.

Q: If I am a senior and want to walk, what time should I arrive and
where do I go?

A: Please arrive by 7:30 p.m. Come inside the Convention Center to
line up.

Q: I heard there were other proms there. Are we the only prom in the
Convention Center that day?

A: Yes, we are the only prom in the convention center. Other proms
are being held in the Holiday Inn itself, but we are the only prom in
the convention center.

Q: What if my date does not attend Webb City High School?

A: You should have already signed your date up outside of Room 600.
We MUST be able to verify their current attendance or graduation from
a public or private high school.

Q: I didn't get picture frames when I bought my tickets. What do I do?

A: Picture frames arrived late. If you bought your ticket early,
please see Ms. Thomas in Room 600 to get your picture frames.

Q: What do we use as tickets? What if I forget them?

A: Use your keychains or your receipt. If you forget them, your name
will be on a list. Don't worry. If you paid for a ticket, you will
get in to the dance.

Q: The theme is Mascarada d'Amor. Do we have to wear a mask? Can you
wear one?

A: You may wear a mask, but you do not have to wear a mask. We have
found that Romancing the Stone and Roy's Costumes have masks, if you
would like to buy one.

Q: Will there by limousines for students this year?

A: Because the parking lot at the convention center is directly in
front of it, we are not planning to have limousines available. Sorry.

***If your question was not answered here, please see Ms. Thomas in
room 600 or e-mail her at sthomas@mail.wccards.k12.mo.us.

Spread the Word Campaign

I will give credit to up to 4 people who help make this video...

Basically there is a new campaign with the goal to end the use of the
word "retarded."

We would like to promote this campaign and motivate many at our school
to sign a pledge sheet, committing to stopping the use of this word.

You can be as creative as you want to promote this but we really want
to make it look good.

Here are some links to more information:
